Faith Lim Xinyi practises as a multi-medium image maker. With a keen eye for aesthetics, she is passionate about creating images and experiences that convey deeper meanings, visually representing her envisioned stories. Despite strategic conceptualisation and staging, she believes an image conveys authentic emotions.

Once merely functional, the powder room now symbolises liberation. It offers women a moment of respite and safety in the night. The battle between patriarchy and this space conditions women to see it as a relief from gender constraints. However, this perception is a product of a male-dominated world. This project aims to break stereotypes and redefine what it means to be a woman today.
